CURRICULUM

Since the establishment of the school, we follow the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) which is a member of the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE). NBSE is a state run educational board that has curriculum on par with other competitive boards of education.

ASSESSMENT

PRIMARY


The primary section conducts three assessments sparsely spaced throughout the year. For revision and to help students’ achieve good standard grades before the end of the year, the school also conducts three to four unit test as required during the academic session.

HSLC


High School conducts three assessments for class 7-8 sparsely spaced throughout the year. In order to help the students and to help them achieve good standard grades before the end of the year, the school also conducts three to four unit test as required during the academic session.


           Whereas for Class 9 & 10, two unit tests and one mid term exam are conducted in an academic year. Following which class 9 has a promotion exam by NBSE and class 10 has a selection exam to appear for NBSE finals.

Usually during the month of February, Class 10 will appear their NBSE final exam.

HSSLC


Higher Secondary School conducts one mid term exam for both class 11 & 12 (Science and Arts) in an academic year. In order to improve the student’s knowledge and to help them achieve a good standard before the end of the year, the school also conducts three to four unit test as required during the academic session. Following which class 12 has a selection exam to appear for NBSE finals. If in selection exam a student cannot reach the set standard they are not allowed to appear for finals.

Usually during the month of February, Class 12 will appear their NBSE final exam and Class 11 will appear their NBSE promotional exam during the same time.
